2. Melting Temperature of Injection PA6
The temperature of PA6 is 220 – 330 degrees Celsius. The injection molding machine barrel maintains this temperature to avoid decomposition into another product.
The front part of the machine's temperature is lower by 5 – 10 degrees Celsius than the middle part.
Also, the loading part's temperature is lower by 20 – 50 degrees Celsius than the middle part.
3. The Injection Pressure
Pressure has a little effect on the force of PA6. The choice of pressure depends on the machine barrel temperature, mold structure, size of the product, and molding machine type.
4. The Molding Cycle
The molding cycle depends on the thickness of the injection PA6. The injection time, cooling time, and pressure maintaining period will be shorter for thin products, while for thick wall products, it will be longer.
5. The Speed of the Screw
The speed is high, and the line speed is 1m/s. However, setting the screw speed at a lower point enables a smooth plasticization process before the cooling time complete.
